In response to the system incident of the 5th and 6th of September, Postbank wishes to assure SASSA beneficiaries and the public that all outstanding SASSA grant payments have been made.
Reversing funds into all affected beneficiaries’ accounts has been completed.
Several SASS Gold Cards beneficiaries who had outstanding payments have been able to access their money through ATMs and retailers.

In addition, we have come across instances of individuals attempting to deceive the system by seeking duplicate payments, even though they have already received their funds. We assure you that our systems are highly diligent, making it unlikely for these attempts to succeed. However, such actions only cause congestion in the system and prevent those genuinely in need from receiving assistance. This behavior is unacceptable and will be reported to law enforcement agencies, as it perpetuates a false belief that many SASSA beneficiaries have not been paid.
